Fun and Funky

One of my favorite kinds of outfits is something that looks funky and casual simultaneously! Luckily I’ve found an outfit that where you can get the best of both worlds (R.I.P. Old Miley). Here’s a look I put together that’s casual and you can wear to any summer carnival, concert, museum, or city!

Gingham tops are everywhere this season, and I had to continue the fad because I love how bold the pattern is and it looks great on everyone! I found my top at this awesome local shop called Urban Found, with stores in Holland and Saugatuck, Michigan. If you do not live in Michigan, there’s a very similar and cute version of this top at Nordstrom!

My fringe jeans are my go-to in warm weather! They’re super funky and go with just about everything, giving any outfit a little extra flair. American Eagle has a similar pair as mine (I actually got my pair at Urban Found too, they’re wonderful!) that are super cute and on sale!

Every outfit can be completed with some original chucks! I’ve had my converse since my freshman year of college and I wear them all the time! Black is a great neutral color and doesn’t get dirty easily (as much as I love the white ones! You can easily get converse on their website, but high tops can be found in stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Nordstrom Rack, where you can get them for MUCH cheaper.

Lastly, I found this vintage denim jacket at a salvation army in Traverse City, Michigan. I never had the guts to wear it with anything until I realized that denim on denim is becoming super popular (who ever knew that the Canadian Tux would become such a fad?) I found some awesome jacks on

I hope you guys find some fun and funky-fresh ideas for your summer wardrobe! xo, Brynne
