Summer? Fall? What Season Is It?

Back-to-school time is a very strange fashion season as the weather is trying to figure out it’s own style too. It’s unpredictably hot one day and cold the next which makes it pretty difficult to plan an outfit of the day. Luckily for you, I’ve got an outfit that can go with most weather situations and looks perfect for transitioning from summer to fall!

My shirt is from Nordstrom Rack and it’s from the brand Melrose and Market. Overall I love this company so much because they have a classic style for a very affordable price. Sadly they aren’t selling this shirt anymore but I found a similar one from Madewell that has a similar color scheme and style.

My pants are from Gap and they are linked here. I love how stretchy and comfortable they are and the wash looks good with anything! If you have a Gap Outlet nearby I highly recommend going there first because I got those jeans for $20. What a steal!

My denim jacket is from American Eagle and I’ve had it for so long! I’m a big fan of American Eagle denim because it’s usually very affordable and my jean jacket is something that I wear constantly in the summer and early fall. I’ve linked one AE jacket that’s the same style here and another AE jacket that’s the same wash as mine but more distressed here.

My purse is from the Kate Spade outlets but sadly I could not find this bag on their website anymore so I linked another day bag I found on Free People that has a similar feel, is spacious, and a great neutral gray.

Lastly, my shoes are from Nordstrom Rack/Korks and those are linked here. I’ve been wearing them all summer and they’re a classic, comfortable, and simple sandal that I’ve been wearing all summer because they go with so many outfits!

That’s all I’ve got for today’s back-to-school inspiration. I hope you find some cute pieces for your fall wardrobe! xo, Brynne
