Oversized Jackets: SUCH A FAN

Ok, I don’t know about you, but oversized jackets in the Fall are one of my FAVORITE additions to an outfit! You can rock them over a sweater and they don’t make you feel stiff, and they completely pull an outfit together when the weather is so unpredictable!

The jacket that I have on I thrifted and it’s the brand Dressbarn. I almost didn’t get it as I thought it may be too ‘Spring,’ but I think the colors can go for any season. It’s a size Large which is perfect because I’m a size xs/s so it’s great for layering! I’ve linked some of my favorite oversized denim below… Come check out my finds!

  1. Zara: One of my go-to brands as they always have great neutrals and also really funky prints in their products. Their ‘basic’ collection has an awesome black denim jacket that’s perfect for putting on over a cozy sweater!

2. Levi’s One of the original and best quality brands for denim in my opinion. Not only do they have great options on the website, but Levi’s is now carried at TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack if you’re looking to save some money. Regardless, I think Levi’s is worth every penny.

3. Shein

Ok guys… I LOVE the print on this jacket! It’s so fun and also affordable. I’ve heard really good things about the quality of Shein products. If you were going for a neutral outfit, this would be the perfect pop of color!

Friends, I am SO thankful for all of you who read my blog posts… seriously, it’s a gift! Have an amazing Friday, you made it!!!

Exploring Downtown Chicago

I love going into Chicago to spend time with people I care about! My school does a Chicago trip once every year where you can spend the entire day in the city to explore and it’s always so fun. This year I decided to put the perfect outfit together to do a little sight seeing!

My top is from Spring Sweet, a cute boutique in downtown Holland, MI. There are some cute and similar shirts at Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters that are so adorable!

My jeans are from the Gap Outlets and are wonderful to wear with most of my outfits, but you can find a similar pair for a good price at H&M and ASOS.

I got my ankle boots from TJ Maxx and they’re from the brand Clarks. The most similar pair of shoes I’ve found is from DSW and the shoes are Lucky Brand! They are so cute and you could wear them with anything!

My necklace is also from Spring Sweet and although they don’t have it on their website, I found a cute second option from Madewell that’s simple and classy.

Lastly, my beret is from a New York City street vendor when I was 11 years old! I haven’t worn this beret in years but as berets have come back in style, I dug it out from the bottom of my closet! You can find berets just about anywhere, and some of my favorites are from Free People and Madewell.

I had such a fun time feeling chic and walking through the city! Luckily it was such a beautiful day out that I barely needed my jacket to enjoy the city!

Fall Staples For Your Closet

This is my absolute favorite season guys! I feel like there are so many cute outfit combinations for this month and this is an easy go-to choice for my closet. If I’m in a rush, the easiest outfit for me is the cute sweatshirt/skinny jean/boot combination. Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

My top is from a boutique store in my town called Spring Sweet. I love a cute sweatshirt that has a little detail to it. Some of my favorite classy sweatshirts of the season are from Zara, Urban Outfitters, and Madewell.

My skinny jeans are from the Gap outlets but I found a super cute cropped pair of black skinny jeans from Madewell. My runner-up choices are from Free People and ASOS.

Lastly, my boots are from Clarks but a couple of my favorite boots that I’ve found this season are from Steve Madden, Doc Martens, and Aldo.

I’m so excited to find some more inspiration for my fall closet! I hope you found some great ideas for this beautiful and chilly season!
